Before and After Processing

I get quite a few questions on what the RAW photos look like before and post processing. So I thought I would share a few comparisons.

There was a low, fast rolling fog coming in off the water that I thought was going to ruin these eagle shots. Luckily Lightroom can elminate that haze with ease.

This shot was a long exposure in Austin on the Congress Street Bridge. The RAW image was quite hot as you can see from the left side with colors mainly in orange, red and yellow. After lowering the temperature of the orange and yellows the whites and blues shine on a whole new level.

Shooting in full sun is not my favorite. Blownout highlights, dark harsh shadows. Not for me thanks, however, we have to work with what we got. This is a BMW 2002 from the 2020 SOVREN/SCCA event at Pacific Raceways.
